Traders who are interested in targeting the workplace beverage market will be interested to see if they can work beside the Fairtrade at Work campaign, which apparently starts on 9th October (the Fairtrade Foundation tends to be so low-key that they often forget to mention these things!)
From what we can gather, they’re aiming to increase the awareness and availability of Fairtrade beverages within the workplace, and are talking about ‘a producer tour, samplings, tastings’ and, heaven help us, ‘a few stunts’. More than that, we do not yet know, and they haven’t responded to enquiries.
However, as you may know, Coffee House magazine has done (and still do) a lot of writing for the office sector, and today one of the dealer-groups who dominate the office-equipment market told us: “coffee is the only booming product in office supplies…”
